Investment bank adds new Senior VP

LaGrey, a Grand Rapids-based boutique advisory firm and investment bank, has hired Brian May as Senior Vice President.

May brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A, strategy, and operational leadership. Most recently, he served as Director of Finance and Operations at EHTC, a West Michigan-based CPA and advisory firm, where he led all support functions, including administration, human resources, finance, and IT. Previously, May held executive roles in both high-growth entrepreneurial ventures and established public companies. He also had a key role in guiding Founders Brewing Company through rapid scaling and international expansion.

At LaGrey, May will be responsible for leading M&A transactions across a range of industries and geographies while cultivating strategic relationships that support the firm’s continued growth.

May is actively engaged in the community and currently serves on the Envoy B2B and Tolman’s Meats boards. He also coaches middle school football and basketball and previously served as treasurer for USA Boxing, the national governing body for Olympic-style boxing in the United States.
